Despite Bangladesh picking up two more wickets in the afternoon session of day two, Sri Lanka approached the 500-run mark. De Silva’s positive innings of 70, which included six fours and two sixes, concluded abruptly after lunch as Khaled Ahmed claimed his first wicket of the match.
