Watch: Lucknow crowd chants ‘Pandya Pandya’ for Krunal as Hardik gets all the hate

Hardik Pandya has been booed by fans in Ahmedabad and Hyderabad, while Krunal has been welcomed by the Lucknow crowd.

The Lucknow crowd went berserk for Krunal Pandya in the LSG vs PBKS match. The reverberation of ‘Pandya Pandya Pandya’ was heard all around the stadium as the all-rounder took his side to 199, all thanks to his incredible 43-run knock off just 22 balls. The chants took us back to a few days ago, when his younger brother Hardik Pandya was being jeered by the crowd in Hyderabad.

With his team 125/4 after 13.1 overs, the older Pandya scored 43 of the 75 runs the Lucknow Super Giants scored. By taking his side to a great total of 199, Krunal earned all the praise of the Lucknow crowd. His younger brother, meanwhile, didn’t get any love in Ahmedabad, his hometown, or Hyderabad. Such was the hate that Hardik Pandya received that the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) had to bolster their security.
