As per Cricket Pakistan, the selectors will travel to Kakul in their attempt to convince the ex-skipper. Reportedly, Azam has expressed interest to lead the team across all three formats if he is named the T20I skipper.

Sources tell Cricket Pakistan that those close to Azam are advising him to place all his demands in front of a vulnerable PCB. The board is most likely to announce the new skipper on Sunday.
Rizwan is being considered the alternative if Babar doesn’t accept. It is pertinent out that Shaheen will be replaced after leading the side in just one series (vs NZ), if done so.
