Still rusty, Rishabh Pant struggles in RR vs DC clash with 26-ball 28

RR vs DC: Rishabh Pant remains still rusty, manages to score only 28-run knock from 26 balls in IPL 2024

Rishabh Pant comeback is leading. After a miracle comeback in IPL 2024, the Delhi Capitals skipper still remains rusty. Pant managed to score a 26-ball 28-run knock in the RR vs DC, not being able to contribute much for his side. The DC skipper will be ready to shake off his rust and play well for his side in the next game.

Rishabh Pant has been hoping for the comeback that he has been expecting. In his first match he made a stunning return to the field after 453 days. But in the RR vs DC match he was again rusty. However, that didn’t stop the southpaw from hitting 2 fours and a glorious sixer.

Rishabh Pant found himself walking to the crease after a rather decent start from Delhi Capitals. Ricky Bhui fell for a duck and the visitors badly needed an enforcer. But unfortunately, Pant couldn’t showcase his hard hitting nature. Despite slamming 3 boundaries he was rather quite in his knock.

He more or less played the role of an anchor, rotating strikes. On the contrary he was expected to put his foot on the throttle and go the distance. After their opening match loss, Delhi Capitals are in the desperate need for a win.
