Watch: ‘Delhi boy’ Rishabh Pant awarded special jersey after ‘DC century’

Pant has beaten Amit Mishra's record of playing the most matches (99) for the Delhi Capitals since 2008.

A century to cherish for Rishabh Pant and the Delhi Capitals! Hometown hero and captain, Pant, has become the first player from the franchise to play 100 IPL matches. In DC’s 17-year history, the superstar wicketkeeper batter, who made his debut in 2016, is the first to score a ‘century’ of matches.

To commemorate this achievement, Pant was felicitated with a special jersey, awarded by an all-time legend and DC head coach Ricky Ponting. Having missed the last season due to his accident, the moment would have felt extra special for Pant.
