Going to the stadium in the team bus? Nah, I’ll take my bike instead, says Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) coach Jonty Rhodes. The adventurous LSG fielding coach is known for his love for motorcycles and has traveled to various parts of India on his bike in the past. This time, as his side is prepping for the LSG vs PBKS on March 30, he chose to ride his Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 to the Ekana Cricket Stadium.
LSG & KL Rahul’s scratchy start
Making his comeback after two months, LSG skipper KL Rahul failed to get going. Although he crossed the 50-run mark, he failed to take his side across the line. The good thing for Rahul and the Super Giants is that their next match is at home. As has been the trend so far in the IPL 2024 season, home sides have come out on top every single time.
At home, LSG will have the chance to control the momentum and notch that important first win. The win will also bode well for Rahul, after getting serious criticism for his slow knock.
