Royal Challengers Bengaluru skipper Faf du Plessis admits that the side can’t have cluster of wickets and that they would have to improve that. The RCB star made the remark at the toss of the game against PBKS in Bengaluru. RCB have won the toss and have opted to bowl first.

“We are going to have a bowl. It looks a pretty good wicket but also because of the way our team is set up. The boys are excited for the season. In any game of cricket you can’t have clusters of wickets and we have to improve on that. Same team and one or two options on changing the substitutions,” du Plessis said at the toss.

RCB started off their IPL 2024 campaign with a defeat against CSK in the tournament’s opener. Their batting order collapsed like a pack of cards after a strong start from du Plessis and Virat Kohli. It was Anuj Rawat and Dinesh Karthik who saved the team from making an embarrassing total with a strong partnership towards the end of the 1st innings.
