After starting their IPL 2024 campaign on the right note, the Punjab Kings (PBKS) skipper has decided to field the same playing XI in the second match. Despite Jonny Bairstow and Kagiso Rabada failing to make their mark against the Delhi Capitals, Shikhar Dhawan has decided to make no change to their XI vs RCB.
PBKS Playing XI vs RCB
Shikhar Dhawan (c), Jonny Bairstow, Prabhsimran Singh, Sam Curran, Jitesh Sharma (wk), Liam Livingstone, Shashank Singh, Harpreet Brar, Harshal Patel, Kagiso Rabada, Rahul Chahar
Impact Substitutes: Arshdeep Singh, Rilee Rossouw, Tanay Thyagarajan, Harpreet Bhatia, Vidwath Kaverappa.
After losing the toss, PBKS skipper Shikhar Dhawan has decided to add Prabhsimran Singh to their starting XI. This means that the batter will go out in the second inning, and their ace left-arm pacer, Arshdeep Singh, will most likely return to bowl. It seems like Dhawan has also decided to continue to have Sam Curran bat at 4 after the all-rounder scored a fifty against the Delhi Capitals.
