The remainder of the IPL 2024 Schedule is out. The BCCI has released the IPL schedule and it is good news for the fans. There won’t be a break in the tournament. Previously, the apex body released the initial schedule of IPL 2024 as the General Election dates collided with the tournament. The IPL 2024 Final will be held on 26th May at Chepauk.
But now that the Lok Sabha Election dates are released, the BCCI has gone on to release the dates of the remainder of the schedule. The previous schedule was given till 7th April. Now as per the schedule, CSK is slated to take on KKR on 8th April. This essentially proves that there won’t be a break in the IPL Schedule for General Elections.
Previously the BCCI released the schedule for the opening 21 games. However, the General Elections are slated to take place from 19th April to 1st June and the counting on 4th June. The board has decided to feature the fixtures in such a way that it avoids the clashing of the games with those of the election venues.
Despite the elections, the entirety of IPL 2024 will be played in India. The highly anticipated IPL 2024 Final will be held on 26th May at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

The last group stage game will feature Rajasthan Royals vs Kolkata Knight Riders on 19th May. After a days break, the IPL 2024 knockout phases will commence. The Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator will be held in Motera on 21st and 22nd May respectively. And then finally the Qualifier 2 and the grand Final will be held in Chepauk, Chennai on 24th and 26th May respectively.
