IPL 2024: Predicted PBKS playing XI vs DC

Punjab Kings (PBKS) will be aiming their first ever Indian Premier League (IPL) title in the upcoming edition. Veteran Shikhar Dhawan will be leading the PBKS side in their opening match of IPL against DC. The PBKS vs DC match will be played at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, at Mullanpur in Chandigarh, on Friday, March 23. Skipper Shikhar Dhawan is expected to open alongside Jonny Bairstow. PBKS middle-order consists of Prabhsimran Singh, Liam Livingstone, Sam Curran and Jitesh Sharma. Punjab side has two good spinners in their squad including Rahul Chahar and Harpreet Brar. Apart from his left-arm spin, Brar can also hit some big shots with the bat.

PBKS have some quality pacers in their line-up including express pacer Kagiso Rabada, Arshdeep Singh and Harshal Patel. While Rabada and Arshdeep are expected to share the new ball, Patel might be used in the death overs.
