Eden Gardens Weather Report: Will rain play a spoilsport in KKR vs SRH IPL 2024 clash?

Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 is back with it’s 17th edition. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will take on Sunriser Hyderabad (SRH) in a second match of a double header on Saturday. As fans eagerly await the match, they may be curious about the weather forecast for Kolkata.

According to weather.com, Eden Gardens may experience partly cloudy conditions, with a slight possibility of rainfall, estimated at around 8%. The humidity level is forecasted to be at 64%, with temperatures hovering around 32 degrees Celsius. The wind speed in the area is expected to be approximately 16 km/h.

Most probably, cricket fans will enjoy the full game between Kolkata and Hyderabad. Both teams will be led by new captains, with Shreyas Iyer leading the team for Kolkata after missing IPL 2023, while the second-highest-paid player, Pat Cummins, will captain SRH.

IPL 2024: Double header Day

On Saturday, IPL 2024 will witness two clashes. Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Delhi Capitals (DC) will play the first game of the day at Mullanpur Cricket Stadium. It will be the first IPL game that will be played at this stadium. Later, KKR will face off against SRH at their home.
