Rajasthan Royals fans would be eagerly waiting to see Yashasvi replicate or even better his IPL 2023 form. But how is the preparation for the the IPL 2024 going for Yashasvi Jaiswal? Jwala Singh, Yashasvi’s coach and mentor gives us an insight.
“To be very frank right now, he is with the Rajasthan Royals team, so he is extremely busy with his preparation with the franchise. He scored a lot of runs last year, so it’s just another year where he needs to deliver. It’s very important to score runs consistently in the IPL, considering the situation, conditions, and challenges. So, it is just a matter of repeating last year’s performance and trying to improve upon it. So nothing different, really,” Jwala Singh said in an exclusive interview to Insidesport.
Yashasvi Jaiswal had scored 625 runs in 14 matches in IPL 2023, and has been in the circuit for long, prompting coach Jwala Singh to say that he is not a youngster anymore.

“I think his preparation is going well. He has already played IPL for years, so he’s not a youngster anymore; he’s almost a senior player of the team. I think he will be the main player of the team, and the team management and the captain must have given him some role. He will definitely deliver this year as well,” Jwala added.
