Gujarat Titans will receive a major boost in time for IPL 2024 as Rashid Khan makes a sensational comeback. The Afghanistan skipper returned to the game after being out owing to injury and a surgery. Rashid picked up 4 wickets and scored 25 runs as AFG beat IRE in the 2nd T20I by 10 runs.

Tucker was Rashid Khan’s first victim in the fourth delivery of the 8th over. The spinner struck in the very next delivery yet again, leaving him on a hat-trick. However, it took as many as six overs for Rashid to get is next wicket, and a delivery-gap later to pick his 4th scalp. He finished the game with a spell of 4/14.
Rashid Khan made an impact with the bat as well. Coming in to bat as one of the tailenders, the GT star played a fiery 12-ball 25 runs. Including a no-look six, Rashid smashed three fours and one six, propelling AFG to 159 runs.
