Rishabh Pant IPL 2024 return
Rishabh Pant suffered a horrific road accident in December 2022. Since then, he was out of action. However, after undergoing an extensive 14-month rehab and recovery process, following a life-threatening road mishap Rishabh Pant has now been declared fit.
Pant had crashed his Mercedes SUV while going to Dehradun from Delhi before dawn in December 2022, suffering multiple injuries when the car rammed into a crash barrier, flipped over and caught fire. He was rushed to hospital before being airlifted to Mumbai for further treatment and surgery.
Due to his injuries, Pant also failed to participate in the 50-over World Cup. However, Pant is expected to rejoin the Delhi Capitals for IPL 2024. He may also represent India in the June T20 World Cup in the United States and the West Indies.
