Kuldeep was all over the England batting line-up, removing openers Crawley and Duckett, Pope, Bairstow and skipper Stokes.

Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav on Thursday was on fire in the IND vs ENG 5th Test. India lost the toss as England decided to bat first. However, in Ashwin’s 100th Test, spectators were in for a Kuldeep show. The spinner picked up five wickets within the second session to put India in the drivers’ seat.

Kuldeep looked menacing right from the start of his spell. England openers Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley stitched an opening partnership of 64 runs. However, Kuldeep broke that partnership, removing Duckett as Shubman Gill held on to a smart catch.

Ollie Pope became the next victim of Kuldeep as the Chinaman’s wrong one foxed the batter as he came down the crease. Jurel made no mistake in dislodging the bails to send Pope back to the pavillion in the last ball before lunch break.

Kuldeep started the post-lunch session with renewed vigour, removing dangerous looking Zak Crawley for 79 runs as he was bowled. Bairstow was caught by the wicketkeeper misreading Kuldeep’s spin.

Kuldeep completed his fifer by trapping England captain Ben Stokes in front of the stumps as England once again collapsed after a decent start.
