Watch: RCB star Ellyse Perry slams fifty, shatters glass of a car on side-lines with mammoth six

Having lost their last game against Delhi Capitals, RCB look to bounce back to the winning ways against UP Warriorz

Ellyse Perry hits a stellar six smashing the window glass of a Punch EV kept along the sidelines of the M Chinnaswamy Stadium as RCB look to bounce back to winning ways. In the WPL 2024 game against UP Warriorz Perry slammed a stellar 58-run innings off 37 balls to give RCB a flying start.

In the second last ball of the 19th over, Perry hit Deepti Sharma over the long-on boundary for a massive 80-meter six, shattering a car window in the process. The 33-year-old Perry was visibly surprised and had her hands on her head upon seeing the glass window break.

Watch the moment below:

Perry showcased her exceptional skills against the Warriorz, reaching her half-century off 34 balls and eventually scoring 58 runs off 37 balls with 4 fours and an equal number of sixes. Sophie Ecclestone dismissed her in the last over, but Perry had already put the Challengers in a commanding position.

After Sabbhineni Meghana was dismissed by Anjali Sarvani, Perry came to bat. Smriti Mandhana and Meghana had laid the foundation with a partnership of 51 runs for the opening wicket off 5.3 overs. Perry and Mandhana then combined for a partnership of 95 runs off 64 balls for the second wicket.
