Needing to avoid losing early wickets, Madhya Pradesh began their innings cautiously. They lost their opener Yash Dubey early, but wicketkeeper Himanshu Mantri (26*) and Harsh Gawli (10*) ensured they reached stumps without further damage.
Vidarbha vs Madhya Pradesh, Day 2: Ranji Trophy semi-final
Madhya Pradesh will be looking to press their advantage and build a significant lead on the second day. They will be confident of doing so, considering their strong bowling performance and Vidarbha’s below-par total.
