WPL 2024: Pitch invasion interrupts play during the MI vs UPW match

The invader did not cause any harm to the players and quickly removed from the field by the stadium security.

An issue that keeps interrupting play in cricket is pitch invasion. Anyone who follows cricket knows about an English cricket fan by the name of ‘Jarvo’ who made a career out of doing so. A similar incident happened earlier today in the Mumbai Indias vs UP Warriorz match in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024.

With just one ball left before the end of the first inning, a fan decided to enter the pitch. Although the fan did not cause any harm and seemed to have been tackled by Alyssa Healy, Eventually, the fan was taken out of the field by stadium security. However, such incidents show how dangerous the game can be for the players.
