Pacer Akash Deep managed to grab his first Test wicket in the 3rd over, until it was ruled a no-ball. Making his debut in IND vs ENG 4th Test, a front-foot no ball denied the pacer his maiden Test wicket. Zak Crawley was the batter who managed to survive the scare.
Memorable to misery for Akash Deep in IND vs ENG 4th Test
Akash’s fiery delivery managed to brush past Crawley’s inside edge. It went on to crash into the off-stump, sending it cartwheeling. However, a front foot no ball cut the celebrations short for the debutant.
The pacer had a brilliant outing for India ‘A’ in the unofficial multiple-day series against England Lions, where he took 13 wickets.
