Bowling with a an economy of 10.80, Cummins was hammered all across the park. He managed to scalp just a solitary wicket of Rachin Ravindra but gave away 43 runs in his bowling spell.

The Kiwis came out with all guns blazing. New Zealand unleashed carnage and managed to amass 215/3 after their stipulated 20 overs. Not just Cummins, all the Aussie bowlers were hammered. Highest priced player in IPL history, Mitchell Starc too was costly. He gave away 39 runs in the process.

As for the IPL, the tournament is slated to commence from 22nd March. The schedule is not yet out but is expected to be out in the coming weeks. The entirety of the IPL will be held in India despite the Lok Sabha elections.
