The Pakistan Super League is ongoing. However, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued a stern warning to the players, team management and the support staff. Fearing match fixing the PCB has asked the teams to stay away from 2 Indians.
A total of 4 individuals have been targeted by the PCB. These include 2 Indians, 1 former Pakistani regional coach and 1 Bangladeshi. The PCB is also taking adequate measures. The players and the staff have been informed to keep their distance from these individuals.
Furthermore, should the 4 people be spotted, the players are instructed not to engage with them. They are also asked to report to the anti-corruption officials about the same. A major reason for the in inclusion of these people are owing to their presence of them in the team hotels.
The PCB doesn’t fully book the hotels, which means other individuals can also be present at the hotel. Everyone, including players and staff are informed to report to the officials should they be offered gifts of more than 25,000 Pakistani Rupees. Furthermore, players are also not allowed to order food from the outside, which they were permitted during the ODI World Cup in India.
