Karachi Kings senior all-rounder Shoaib Malik’s wife Sana Javed was teased with Sania Mirza’s during a match in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL 2024) match against Multan Sultans on Sunday, January 18. Recently, Shoaib Malik married Sana Javed after divorcing his second wife and former Indian tennis player Sania Mirza. Mirza’s family members also confirmed the same.
In a video going viral on the social media platforms, a spectator in the stands can be heard calling ‘Sania Mirza’ when Sana Javed was leaving the ground after the match between Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans. However, Pakistani actress was visibly unhappy as he gave a look to the person who was chanting Shoaib Malik‘ ex-wife name.
Sana Javed married Shoaib in January. The couple surprised fans with the news of their marriage by posting photos from their wedding ceremony. The cricketer shared the first-ever pictures from their wedding on his Instagram and it instantly broke the internet.
Prior to his union with Sana Javed, Shoaib Malik had been married to Sania Mirza. The couple tied the knot in a grand ceremony in Hyderabad in April 2010 and was based in Dubai. Following the news of Shoaib’s wedding with Sana, it was revealed that Sania asked for a ‘khula’. For the unversed, a khula is an Islamic jurisprudence through which a woman can initiate a divorce from her husband unilaterally.
