The Delhi Premier League on Monday saw an unprecedented match between two bottom placed teams in the form of Rangers Sporting Club and Ahbab Football Club. Ahbab, who are second to last in the league won convincingly 5-0 against bottom placed Rangers Sporting Club. More than the result, they way Rangers SC conceded some of the goals posed questions about the integrity of the match, with many including Ranjit Bajaj alleging that the game has been allegedly fixed.
In videos posted by Ranjit Bajaj on his X (previously Twitter) account, Rangers SC players are seeing scoring own goals in dubious manner.
Bajaj shared the videos of the goals on Twitter and wrote, “I can guarantee that fixing is rampant in the @FootballDelhi senior premier division- that’s why we true to play In it ever again till they take action- I have been saying it again and again- the most corrupt league In the country- @ILeague_aiff is not behind – referees – team owners – five teams involved and all players know about it – no one cares.
“Guess who is the main partner of delhi soccer association- a betting company. I tweeted about this a month ago no one even contacted me – who wil wnat to see this match – please make this go viral – this is actually the third division of our league,” Bajaj wrote on X.
