The first innings of the match saw Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja as standout performers for India. Mohammed Siraj displayed an impressive display of bowling, particularly on Day 2, where his yorker barrage dismantled England’s lower order.

Subsequently, it was the youthful trio of Sarfaraz, Jaiswal, and Shubman Gill who dominated England with their aggressive batting, contributing to India’s commanding a lead of 557 runs.

England’s struggle continued into the final innings, resulting in their lowest-ever total in the Bazball era, as they were bowled out for just 122 runs.

Dhruv Jurel sends Ben Duckett back:

In a spectacular display of wicket-keeping, debutant Druv Jurel, with assistance from Mohammed Siraj, dismissed Ben Duckett with a remarkable run-out.

Duckett’s pursuit of a single led to a mix-up as Crawley signalled him back too late. Siraj swiftly threw the ball, and wicketkeeper Dhurv Jurel swiftly broke the stumps in motion.
