Veteran fast bowler Dhawal Kulkarni is all set to bid farewell to cricket after Mumbai’s final Ranji Trophy league match against Assam, according to reports.
This curtain call, reported by Times of India, marks the end of a successful career spanning over 15 years, where he left his mark in domestic cricket, the IPL, and even briefly with the Indian national team.
Dhawal Kulkarni was a mainstay in the Mumbai Ranji Trophy team, contributing significantly to their four championship wins (2008-09, 2009-10, 2012-13, 2015-16).
His performances in the finals were particularly noteworthy, with memorable five-wicket hauls against Saurashtra in 2012-13 and against the same opponent in 2015-16. He finishes his Ranji career with a commendable 281 wickets in 95 matches.

Kulkarni’s prowess wasn’t limited to first-class cricket. He was a vital cog in various IPL franchises, showcasing his skills in 130 List-A and 190 T20 matches, claiming a combined 377 wickets.
