After a gap of almost two months, club football’s biggest spectacle UEFA Champions League returns to action. After the group stages were completed in December, UCL resumes with Round of 16 fixtures. A number of good teams including defending champions Manchester City, 14-time UCL winners Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Arsenal will be looking to go all the way in the tournament.
Since there are four more spots up for grabs in the 2025 Club World Cup, the stakes are higher this season. The best-performing teams in Europe will be guaranteed a spot in a rebranded competition with twelve European teams and large prize money.
