A viral video from a match between Kuwait Nationals and SBS CC in the KCC T20 Challengers Cup 2024 stirred the internet on Monday. In the clip, the bowler can be seen floating a delivery that spun drastically after pitching on leg side and hits the top of the middle and leg stump.
Reacting to the video, South Africa spinner Tamraiz Shamsi cheekily requested his fellow spinner, Keshav Maharaj to practice that delivery.
“We’ve gotta work on this ball @keshavmaharaj16”, Shamsi posted on X.
Both Shamsi and Maharaj were part of the recently concluded SA20 2024. While Shamsi represented Paarl Royals, Maharaj led the Durban’s Super Giants in the tournament.

Paarl Royals were knocked out in Playoffs, while the Super Giants suffered a loss in the final against Aiden Markram’s Sunrisers Eastern Cape.
Chasing 205 in the final, the Keshav Maharaj-led side were bundled out for 115, handing the Eastern Cape a comfortable win.
