The much-awaited Indian Test squad for the last three England Tests was announced on Saturday, by the BCCI. In major developments, as expected, Shreyas Iyer was ousted from the team, as he complained of back and groin pain. KL Rahul made it back to the team.
On the other hand, Ravindra Jadeja also made a comeback to the squad, after he missed the second Test due to an injury. Considering the Indian middle-orders struggles in the Vizag Test, the return of Jadeja and Rahul will only strengthen the Indian batting line-up, that will be without Kohli for the entire series.
But their comeback is subject to them clearing the fitness tests, as per the official BCCI release.
No other notable change was made in the batting department. In the bowling, while many expected Jasprit Bumrah to be rested, he is still part of the squad, that means he will play the third Test in Rajkot.
