Mark Boucher interview over IPL captaincy deleted after Ritika Sajdeh’s stern remark

The Instagram page, Smash Sports, which posted Mumbai Indians' head coach Mark Boucher interview, has deleted the post following huge uproar.

Hours after Rohit Sharma’s wife Ritika Sajdeh‘s comment on Mumbai Indians’ head coach Mark Boucher’s interview went viral, the Instagram page Smash Sports deleted the post.

Notably, Mumbai Indians announced the decision to replace Rohit Sharma with Hardik Pandya as the captain for IPL 2024 in December last year.

In the a podcast interaction, MI coach Mark Boucher explained reason behind giving captaincy to Hardik Pandya.

“I think it was purely a cricketing decision. We saw the window period to get Hardik back as a player. For me it’s a transition phase. A lot of people don’t understand in India, people get quite emotional, but you know you take the emotions away from it. I think it’s just more of a cricketing decision that was made and I do think it is going to bring the best out of Rohit as a person as a player. Just let him go out and enjoy and score some good runs”, Mark Boucher said on Smash Sports podcast.

However, Ritika Sajdeh took the internet by storm when she wrote in the comment section: “So many things wrong with this…”.

The comment soon went viral and fans of Rohit Sharma lashed out at the Mumbai franchise for ‘betraying’ one of the most successful skipper in IPL.

The podcast channel soon deleted the Instagram reel. However, the Twitter post is still available.
