The Kolkata Derby is upon us. Following the loss at the hands of arch rivals East Bengal in Kalinga Super Cup, the Mariners practiced in full throttle. Only the major missing is Mohun Bagan right back Asish Rai. The defender has a slight injury and thus took no part in the team practice.
Ahead of the Mohun Bagan vs East Bengal vital clash, it is a big blow for the Green and Maroon brigade. Apart from Rai, there are no injury concerns in the team.

Mohun Bagan Ready To Shrug Off Super Cup Despair
Mohun Bagan will be eyeing to exact revenge on their arch rivals to ease their prangs of the Super Cup defeat. With the first Kolkata Derby of the ISL 2023-24 season, the Mariners will be desperate to grab all three points from the game.
The Mariners have been boosted by the return of some of their key players. The Indian contingent of Sahal Abdul Samad, Anirudh Thapa, Subhasish Bose and others who played a crucial part in the AFC Asian Cup.
The Green and Maroon brigade also has been boosted by the return of Anwar Ali. The star defender has been out of the team for months after suffering an injury in the National Team. With the fire power that Mohun Bagan possess, the hosts will be eyeing to break a resilient East Bengal’s defence.
