Atmosphere is absolutely relaxed: KS Bharat claims nothing to worry after 1st Test loss

Ahead of the IND vs ENG 2nd Test, India Cricket Team wicketkeeper KS Bharat spoke about the atmosphere in the team. England staged a wonderful comeback in the Hyderabad to take a 1-0 lead in the series. KS Bharat has claimed that the atmosphere in the team is relaxed.

The Indian wicketkeeper also claimed that the board has made it clear to the players to not panic. Bharat went on to add that the series is long and there is no need to be worried.

“After the game, the atmosphere is absolutely relaxed. They told us not to panic, which we are not. But then the instruction is very clear, it’s a long Test series and we have played a lot of series like this in the past,” KS Bharat told in the Pre Match Press Conference.

The Hyderabad Test match will be alive in the memories of the players. Talking about the match, KS Bharat claimed that the team could have performed better in certain conditions of the match.

“In our team meetings we spoke about the things we could have done better and yes, we certainly have few plans. (We are) definitely looking at the way how they went about the first game, playing some reverse. That’s something we have definitely worked on,” he concluded.
