In the ongoing U19 World Cup, India all-rounder Arshin Kulkarni showcased his prowess with a scintillating 110-ball century, contributing significantly to India’s formidable total of 326 runs in India U19 vs USA U19. The electrifying game not only demonstrated Kulkarni’s batting brilliance but also witnessed a heartwarming moment as his parents, present in the stands, reacted with joy to their son’s remarkable performance on such a grand stage.
As Kulkarni reached his maiden century in a crucial match, his father displayed a proud gesture, raising his thumb in approval. The all-rounder went on to amass an impressive 108 runs, striking the boundary eight times and scoring three sixes. After the early loss of Adarsh Singh, Kulkarni, alongside Musheer Khan, orchestrated a resilient partnership of 155 runs for the second wicket.
Kulkarni reached his half-century off 70 balls, eventually achieving his three-figure milestone in 110 balls. However, his impressive innings concluded in the 44th over when Ateendra Subramanian dismissed the right-handed batsman.
Buoyed by his performance India set a mammoth target of 327 run. However, a good performance from the bowling contingent saw India claim a 201-run win. Youngster Naman Tiwari scalped four wickets as USA folded for mere 125 runs.
