Virat Kohli is set to make his comeback in cricket after a two-month-long break in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The Indian star joined his team, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), four days before the tournament.

Virat Kohli holds an incredible number of records in the Indian Premier League (IPL). With a stunning 973 runs in the 2016 IPL season, Kohli claims the record for the most runs in a single season. He also possesses the record for scoring the most runs in the Indian Premier League.

King Kohli has smashed 7,263 runs in 237 games at an average of 37.25 and a strike rate of 130.02. He also holds the record for the most number of centuries in the tournament, having hit seven centuries in the T20 league.

Kohli is also the best partner in the tournament, as he and AB de Villiers have the record for the highest partnership of 229 runs in a match against Gujarat Lions in 2016.

His batting style has also propelled him to the third position for hitting the second-most fours in IPL history, amassing a total of 643. Kohli’s consistency is further highlighted by securing the second spot for the most 50+ scores (57) and sharing the joint-second position for the most centuries (5) in the IPL.
