Team India’s veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin continued his grip over England skipper Ben Stokes in international cricket after dismissing the all-rounder for record 12th time in IND vs ENG 1st Test at Hyderabad on Saturday.
Ashwin bamboozled Stokes with a stunning delivery, beating the England’s skipper defence and plucking out the off stump.
Stokes’ dismissal on 6 against Ashwin in the second innings makes him Ashwin’s top Test victim, surpassing Australia opener David Warner, who has been dismissed 11 times by the off-spinner.
Former England captain Alastair Cook is third on the list with 9 dismissals.
