The six franchises in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will participate in the 9th season’s supplementary and replacement draft. It will take place on Monday January 29. In the replacement draft, which will be an online event, franchises will name their replacements for players who will be unavailable. It will include two players each from Gold, Silver, Diamond, and Platinum categories, and one from the Supplementary category.

On a separate note, in the supplementary draft, each team will be able to select players in the 3rd and 4th supplementary pick rounds.
The 9th edition of the PSL is scheduled to kick-off on 17 February 2024 in Lahore. The first match of the season will be played between the reigning champions Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United, the winners of 2016 and 2018 PSL seasons.
The mega-event will be played in four cities across the country. The final will take place on March 18 at Karachi’s National Bank Stadium. The tournament will have a total of 34 matches between the six participating teams. Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi will host the matches.
