Liverpool on Friday announced that head coach Jurgen Klopp is set to part ways with the Premier League club at the end of the season. Appointed in 2015, Klopp has won the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, Premier League, League Cup and FA Cup – and is the only Liverpool manager to win six different major trophies.
“Jürgen Klopp has announced his decision to step down as #LFC manager at the end of the season, having informed the club’s ownership of his wish to leave his position in the summer.” a statement from the club on X read.
Having overseen more than 460 games as Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp maintains an impressive win ratio of 60.7 percent. His legacy places him among the managerial greats at Anfield, alongside names like Bill Shankly and Bob Paisley.
As Klopp contemplates his departure, he could leave with additional medals, as Liverpool’s 2024 squad continues to compete for honors in the Premier League, Carabao Cup, FA Cup, and Europa League.
