Ashish Nehra
Ashish Nehra, a former bowler for India, has been the Gujarat Titans’ head coach since the team was founded in 2022. It was Nehra who decided to make Hardik Pandya the captain of the team and the rest is history. In his first two seasons as an IPL head coach, Nehra won one title and finished at the IPL final.
Stephen Fleming
Former captain of the New Zealand national cricket team, Stephen Fleming is currently the head coach of the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League. Since he assumed the role of head coach in the 2009 IPL, CSK has won five championships.
Ricky Ponting
Former Australian batter Ricky Ponting is among the most successful captains in history. Additionally, he guided Australia to two wins in the International World Cup. Before being appointed coach in 2015, he captained the Mumbai Indians during his first IPL season.
Pointing guided the squad to a good 55.17 win percentage with an overall record in the 2015 season. Ponting signed with the Delhi Capitals for the 2018 campaign. Under his direction, the Delhi Capitals advanced to the 2019 playoffs.
Tom Moody
Tom Moody ranks fourth all-time among the most successful IPL coaches. Moody has had an incredible coaching career.
From 2008 to 2010, Tom captained Kings XI Punjab for three seasons. Kings XI Punjab played some fantastic cricket under his coaching and made it to the playoffs. In 2013, he became a coach of Sunrisers Hyderabad. The Sunrisers qualified for the playoffs five times under his direction, and in 2016 they won the championship.
