Middle-order batter Dan Lawrence will join the England squad today in Hyderabad ahead of the IND vs ENG 1st Test, starting on January 25.
Lawrence was announced as Harry Brook’s replacement on Sunday after the latter returned to UK because of personal reasons.
Lawrence will flew to India from UAE where he has been playing for Desert Vipers in the ILT20 2024.

Meanwhile, England’s young spinner Shoaib Bashir is still stuck in UAE due to a delay in his visa paperwork. The 20-year-old is expected to arrive in next 24 hours.
The Three Lions, who landed in Hyderabad on Sunday, had their first training session on Monday morning at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium.
