The Indian football fans took to social media to share their disappointment at the disheartening result as many questioned Igor Stimac's strategy and game management.

India on Thursday all but crashed out of the AFC Asian Cup with a 3-0 defeat against Uzbekistan in their second Group B match. The defeat left the Indian fans frustrated, who questioned Indian coach Igor Stimac’s team selection and strategy on social media. The Indian coach was on the limelight for several decisions such as leaving Deepak Tangri out and setting up the team without proper attacking outlets.

Uzbekistan started the game with a greater intensity than Igor Stimac’s side. Abbosbek Fayzullaev opened the scoring after just four minutes for Uzbekistan. Igor Sergeev added a second 15 minutes later. A third goal in the stoppage time of first half sealed the fate of the match.
