India Predicted Playing XI: Sanju Samson to replace Jitesh Sharma for IND vs AFG 3rd T20I

Selection headaches continue for Team India, Samson IN, Jitesh OUT for IND vs AFG 3rd T20I

The last match of the IND vs AFG T20I series and there still remains quite a few selection headaches. India has wrapped the series comfortably and thus will be unwilling to tinker with their prominent Playing XI. However, it is imperative that the likes of Shubman Gill and Tilak Varma get much needed game time in the shortest format of the game.

Shubman Gill’s spot in the India team has come under the scanner. In the first game, Gill featured as Yashasvi Jaiswal missed the game owing to a right groin injury. On the other hand, Gill was benched when Jaiswal returned in the second game. With Virat Kohli back in the team, there is hardly any team left for Gill to feature in India Playing XI.

India Opting For Few Changes

Team India will be eyeing for a few changes in their mixes. With the series done and dusted, a few changes can be expected from Rohit Sharma and Co. Tilak Varma missed out in the previous game with the return of Virat Kohli. On the other hand, there is a big scope for Sanju Samson to feature in the game as Jitesh Sharma can be rested.

On the other hand, Kuldeep Yadav will be vying for a spot in the team. In the previous two matches Ravi Bishnoi and Washington Sundar featured for the Men in Blue.

There won’t be any change in the top 3. Shivam Dube has been in sensational form and will retain his spot in the team. Down the order, Avesh Khan who has missed out on both the games can get his chance in the final game of the series.
