Football icon Lionel Messi and actor Shah Rukh Khan have been asked to appear before the district consumer commission in Bihar’s Muzzafarpur. As per Mathrabhumi, the two stars have been asked to appear before the commission on April 12 in a case related to an educational institution.
Messi, SRK in trouble in Bihar?
As per the report, Messi and SRK were brand ambassadors of the institution. The petitoner’s sons had allegedly joined the institute and pursued studies for a while before dropping out. He had to reportedly pay two loans in different categories despite already having paid for the period his sons studied in the college.
Following this, a case was lodged with the district consumer commission after which summons were issued to seven people, including Messi and SRK. While the stars’ lawyers appeared before the commission on January 12, they failed to furnish the original case documents and have been now asked to come again on April 12.
