Former Indian batter Aakash Chopra has opined that Jasprit Bumrah will not play in all the five matches to be played in the upcoming IND vs ENG Test series. Chopra said that the Indian camp uses Jasprit Bumrah very carefully and they will not want to leave any chances of injury to the ace pacer.
“It has been a decent time since Jasprit Bumrah played a Test cricket in home conditions. We tend to conserve Jasprit Bumrah for overseas games or important ICC events. I don’t think he will play all the five Test matches because the conditions are not very much helpful for the pacers anyway,” said Aakash Chopra on his YouTube channel.
Apart from Bumrah, Mukesh Kumar, Avesh Khan, Mohammed Siraj are also included as pacers for the first two matches of the IND vs ENG Test series.
