Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz teased his IPL franchise teammate Rinku Singh during a flight. To note, both Gurbaz and Rinku are a part of the ongoing IND vs AFG T20I series. A couple of days prior for the second match of the series, Rahmanullah Gurbaz took to his Instagram account to share a hilarious short video of himself during team flight. In the footage, Gurbaz can be seen poking Rinku Singh in his sleep.
Earlier, Rinku held his nerves and scored an unbeaten 16 off 9 balls in the first T20I against Afghanistan to give able support to Shivam Dube in India’s successful 159-run chase. Rinku Singh recalled an advice from legendary MS Dhoni which helped him flourish in the finisher’s role.
“I have got a habit of batting at 6 and finishing games, I’m feeling very happy with this job. Enjoyed the cold conditions, it was tough while fielding though. I just try to talk to myself, batting at 6, I don’t have the chance to face too many balls or score too many runs, that’s the thing I keep telling myself. I’ve spoken with Mahi bhai (MS Dhoni), he just told me to react according to the ball, keep your calm and I just do the same thing. I don’t think a lot while batting, just react to the ball,” Rinku told broadcasters after the match.
