Joe Root has dethroned the ‘GOAT’ of cricket Sachin Tendulkar to become the highest run scorer in the IND vs ENG Tests in the 1st Test in Hyderabad on Thursday.
As the first Test began at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Root was only 10 runs short of surpassing Sachin’s 2,535 runs.
