Team MI Emirates announced Robin Singh as the head coach of the team for the upcoming ILT20, while Ajay Jadeja will join him as the batting coach, while former Kiwi bowler Mitchell McClenaghan will be the bowling coach. Robin has been associated with the Mumbai Indians since 2010, and has won five trophies, and two Champions League titles.
Not just that, Robin also served as the General Manager of MI Emirates in the inaugural season of the ILT20 in 2023. On the other hand, Jadeja, who was with the Afghanistan team during the World Cup, as a consultant, will bring in vast experience as a coach.
Lastly, McClenaghan, who first played for Mumbai back in 2015, will be back with the team, but as a coach this time around. Ex-India player Vinay Kumar, and James Franklin remain the assistant coaches of the team, who were around in the first season as well.
