Australia Women’s team pacer Megan Schutt set a new record in INDW vs AUSW 3rd T20I in Navi Mumbai on Tuesday. The star fast bowler surpassed Pakistan’s Nida Dar to become leading wicket-taker in women’s T20Is.
Schutt reached the milestone after picking the wicket of India’s opener Shefali Varma.
The 30-year-old has now131 wickets in 104 matches. Schutt went for 36 runs in 4 overs and picked 1 wicket as Australia restricted India to 147/6 in series decider.
The hosts won the opening game comfortably before Australia staged a comeback to level the series 1-1 with a win in second T20I.
