India’s star all-rounder Hardik Pandya is working hard to get back to full fitness ahead of IPL 2024 which is likely to begin in March end. The 30-year-old was ruled out midway into the World Cup 2023 after sustaining an ankle injury. Pandya, who has also been ruled out of upcoming IND vs AFG series, is likely to be fit before the start of IPL 2024.
Meanwhile, the Mumbai Indians captain have been sharing his recovery journey on social media. Pandya took on Instagram to share a video of him sweating it out in the gym.
“Only one direction to go, forward”, the MI skipper captioned the post.

Rohit Sharma to lead in IND vs AFG T20Is
With Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav both out of the series due to injuries, the selectors have recalled veteran duo Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli back in the T20I squad for the Afghanistan series. Both players are making a return in the shortest format after a gap of 14 months.
