The India Cricket Team for the IND vs AFG T20I series has been announced. Rohit Sharma returns to the team as the captain. India have fielded a strong team for the final 3 T20I matches before the T20 World Cup. Virat Kohli too makes a return to the team after a long span of 14 months.

The Men in Blue are gearing up for their preparation for the 2024 T20 World Cup which is just 5 months away. Though the IPL is there, but this series is of utmost importance for Team India. The series against the Pathans will be the last 3 T20I matches for India before the mega tournament.

India has fielded a strong team for the 3 match series. In the absence of injured Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav, Rohit Sharma returns to lead the squad. Rohit has been in stunning form after a splendid outing in the ODI World Cup. Reports further claim that he is likely to lead the squad in the T20 World Cup.
