Indian skipper Rohit Sharma lauded pacer Mohammed Siraj for producing a brilliant performance to power India to historic win in IND vs SA 2nd Test at Cape Town.
Siraj produced a lethal spell on the opening day of the Cape Town Test to help the visitors to bundle out the hosts for a mere 55 in the first innings.
After registering their first win in Newlands, skipper Rohit Sharma heaped praise on the young pacer and said that it was a ‘special’ performance.
“Very very special. Something that we don’t get to see quite often. We spoke about keeping things very simple because the pitch will do the rest for us. And that’s exactly what happened. Lot of credit to Siraj, Bumrah, Mukesh and Prasidh”, Rohit said in post-match presentation.
