The Pakistani team is just the most entertaining team on the cricket team, for the simple reason, that one cannot predict, how they’ll fare on a given day. They can just run through the opposition on some days, while on most, they’ll be short of what’s expected from them. Among all this, there’s only one constant — poor fielding. In the third and final Pakistan vs Australia Test at the SCG, the visitors displayed shoddy fielding once again.
David Warner, who is all set to retire after the Test, was dropped by debutant Saim Ayub on 20, at first slip, on the bowling of Aamer Jamal. Also, it wasn’t an excessively difficult catch, but a regulation chance, that should have been caught 10 out of 10 times.
But then, the story does not end there. Warner was finally dismissed in a similar fashion — caught at slips by Babar Azam, on the bowling of Agha Salman for 34.
